The most surprising game was a loss of KTP-Basket (1-1) in Kotka on Tuesday night. Hosts were rolled over by Ura Basket (1-2) 91-65. The game without a history. Ura Basket led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. The former international point guard Fiifi Aidoo (187-96, college: Grand Canyon) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Senegalese-American power forward Malik Dime (206-92, college: Washington) contributed with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. Five Ura Basket players scored in double figures. American forward Donte Thomas (200-96, college: Bradley) replied with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds and the former international point guard Antto Nikkarinen (185-91, agency: Blacktop Management) added 9 points and 5 assists in the effort for KTP-Basket. KTP-Basket's coach gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Ura Basket is looking forward to face Kouvot (#10) in Kouvola in the next round. KTP-Basket will play on the road against Lapuan Korikobrat (#9) and is hoping to win this game.
