Everything could happen in Valdarno at the game between two tied teams. Both fifth ranked Bologna and 12th ranked San Giovanni had identical 2-1 record. But San Giovanni was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Bologna 67-51 on Tuesday night. The former international forward Alessandra Tava (183-91) contributed with 14 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Both coaches used bench players saving starting five for next games. Bologna maintains fifth position in A2 with 3-1 record. Loser San Giovanni dropped to the eighth place with two games lost. Bologna will face Roma Elite (#12) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. San Giovanni will play against Roma Athena (#11) and hope to win that game.
