Regular Season Round 5: Kyoto Hannar. - Ryukyu GK 94-89

There was a change at the B League leadership position after last games. Round 5 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Ryukyu GK (4-1). They were defeated by second ranked Kyoto Hannar. (4-1) 94-89 on Wednesday night. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Ryukyu GK. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Four Kyoto Hannar. and five Ryukyu GK players scored in double figures. Ryukyu GK's coach Norio Sassa rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Kyoto Hannar. have a solid series of four victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with 5 other teams including defeated Ryukyu GK. Ryukyu GK will play next round against strong San-en NeoPhoenix trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Kyoto Hannar. will try to continue on its current victory against third ranked Toyama Grouses on the road.
