Regular Season Round 4: Slask Wroclaw - GKS Tychy 94-61

1Liga top team - Slask (4-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed fifth ranked GKS Tychy (2-2) in Wroclaw 94-61. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of GKS Tychy. They outrebounded GKS Tychy 41-28 including 27 on the defensive glass. Slask players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Point guard Norbert Kulon (187-92) fired a double-double by scoring 20 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists for the winners. Power forward Aleksander Dziewa (205-97, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 19 points and 9 rebounds. Five Slask players scored in double figures. Michal Jankowski (191-87) produced 22 points and power forward Maciej Maj (200-88) added 13 points respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Slask have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 4-0 record, which they share with Sokol Lancut. GKS Tychy at the other side keeps the fifth place with two games lost. Slask's next round opponent will be SKK Siedlce (#15) on the road which should be another easy win for them. GKS Tychy will play against Polonia Leszno (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
