Regular Season Round 3: Enea AZS P. - CCC Polkowice 52-86

No shocking result in a game when CCC Polkowice (3-0) crushed Enea AZS P. (0-3) in Poznan 86-52 on Wednesday. CCC Polkowice dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Enea AZS P.'s 30 and made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. CCC Polkowice had a 28-14 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American center Kelsey Bone (193-91, college: Texas A&M) who led the winners and scored 19 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). International Karolina Puss (181-94) accounted for 14 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side. Four CCC Polkowice players scored in double figures. Montenegrin forward Irena Matovic (186-88) came up with 11 points and power forward Aleksandra Parzenska (187-97) added 7 points respectively for Enea AZS P. in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. CCC Polkowice will meet at home Politechnika Gdanska (#11) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Enea AZS P. will play against Energa Torun and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
