Regular Season Round 3: Nuwaidrat - Al-Hala 78-83

Very significant was Al-Hala's (#7) 83-78 road victory against Al-Nweidrat. Al-Nweidrat was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was an exceptional evening for Thailand power forward Jalen Robinson (206-93, college: Dalton St.) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds. Nasser Almosawi accounted for 12 points and 14 rebounds for the winning side. Four Al-Hala players scored in double figures. Serbian-FYR Macedonian forward Nenad Zivcevic (203-87) came up with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 12 rebounds and Ebrahim Albasri added 21 points respectively for Al-Nweidrat in the defeat. Al-Hala will play against Al-Riffa (#3) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Al-Nweidrat will play against Al-Manama (#1) to get more than just one victory in their record.
