Everything could happen in Pamplona at the game between two tied teams. Both third ranked Navarra and 5th ranked Cocinas.com had identical 2-1 record. This time Navarra used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Logrono 81-72 on Friday night. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Carles Marzo (190-92, agency: Duran International) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 8 assists and forward Jose Jimenez (197-96) who added 13 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American guard Ty Jordan (190-96, college: Malone) responded with 16 points and American-Haitian swingman Junior Saintel (201-95, college: Stony Brook) scored 10 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Navarra (3-1) moved-up to second place in Silver. Loser Cocinas.com dropped to the third position with two games lost. Navarra will face Plasencia (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Cocinas.com will play against Azpeitia ISB (#9) and hope to win that game and get promotion back to the LEB Gold just one year after relegation.
