Round 4 in Euromillions League means a new league leader. The biggest surprise took place in Brussels where host Basic-Fit Brussels (1-2) beat league's leader Belfius Mons-Hainaut (3-1) 71-65 on Friday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Belfius Mons-Hainaut. American guard Caleb Walker (194-89, college: Nebraska) fired 15 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. The other American import guard Christopher Smith (193-94, college: Utah St.) chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds. Serbian center Uros Nikolic (207-87, agency: BeoExcell) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 13 rebounds and American guard Chris Jones (188-93, college: Angelo St.) added 14 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four Belfius Mons-Hainaut players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Basic-Fit Brussels left bottom position moving up to sixth place, which they share with Leuven. Belfius Mons-Hainaut at the other side dropped to the second position with one game lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Oostende. Belfius Mons-Hainaut will play next round against strong Limburg United trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Basic-Fit Brussels will try to continue on its current victory against tenth ranked Liege Basket on the road.
