Regular Season Round 2: Vichy Clermont - Paris 85-74

Not a big story in a game when Paris (0-2) was defeated on the road by JA Vichy (2-0) 85-74 on Friday. Naturalized Ivorian center Mohamed Kone (211-81, college: Valparaiso) had a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and power forward Charles-Henri Bronchard (200-82, agency: Court Side) chipped in 13 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Four JA Vichy players scored in double figures. Trinidad and Tobago-Australian point guard Daniel Dillon (193-86, college: Arizona) responded with 22 points and 5 assists and center Garry Florimont (202-87) scored 7 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. JA Vichy will face Lille Metropole (#12) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Paris will play against Poitiers and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
