Very expected game when bottom-ranked Huddinge (0-3) was defeated at home by third ranked Bankeryd (3-1) 94-80 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Bankeryd. Huddinge was better in second period 27-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Guard Jonas Eriksson (190-85) fired 44 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds for the winners. Forward Johannes Hook (200-96) chipped in 15 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Patrik Jaunzems (192-97) produced 25 points and 6 rebounds (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field) and Nassim Mrabty (-99) added 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Bankeryd have a solid three-game winning streak. They used an opportunity after Eskilstuna lost their game and moved up joining them at the top position. Loser Huddinge still closes the standings with three games lost. Bankeryd will have a break next round. Huddinge will play again on the road against the league's second-placed Bankeryd (#2) and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
