The game in Koping was also quite interesting. Fifth ranked KFUM Jamtland (4-3) played at the court of 8th ranked Koping Stars (2-4). KFUM Jamtland managed to secure a 7-point victory 91-84 on Saturday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Koping Stars won fourth quarter 25-23. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. KFUM Jamtland made 16-of-16 free shots (100 percent !!!) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. DR Congolese power forward Evariste Shonganya (204-92) nailed a double-double by scoring 25 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side and international point guard Adam Ronnqvist (181-90) accounted for 20 points. KFUM Jamtland's coach Torbjorn Gehrke used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Serbian guard Aleksa Solevic (188-93, agency: Dynamics Global Management) came up with 18 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists and American forward Desmond Hubert (208-92, college: N.Carolina) added 18 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Koping Stars in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. KFUM Jamtland moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Boras. Newly promoted Koping Stars keep the eighth position with four games lost. KFUM Jamtland will meet at home Nassjo (#6) in the next round. Koping Stars will play against Boras Basket and hope to secure a win.
