Very important is a road loss of Moncada AGR (2-1) against Eurobasket RO (2-1) on Saturday night. Visiting Moncada AGR was defeated by Eurobasket RO in a tough game in Roma 78-84. It was a good game for swingman Alessandro Amici (200-91) who led his team to a victory with 16 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. American guard Nick Zeisloft (193-92, college: Indiana) contributed with 27 points for the winners. American guard Amir Bell (193-96, college: Princeton) answered with 16 points and 9 rebounds and the other American import forward Jalen Cannon (198-93, college: St.Francis, NY) added 18 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Moncada AGR. Four Moncada AGR players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Eurobasket RO's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Roma to the arena Virtus Roma.
