But Quimper UJAP was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Blois 82-78 on Saturday night. ADA Blois dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Quimper UJAP's 36. DR Congolese forward Omari Gudul (206-94, college: Angelo St., agency: Two Points) scored 20 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Ivorian-American swingman Charles Abouo (196-89, college: BYU) chipped in 18 points during the contest. ADA Blois' coach Mickael Hay used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American point guard Travis Cohn (188-89, college: Jacksonville, agency: Octagon Europe) responded with 12 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and swingman Lucas Dussoulier (203-96) scored 10 points and 9 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. ADA Blois will face Denain Voltaire (#10) on the road in the next round. Quimper UJAP will play against SPO Rouen (#18) and hope to win that game.
