Ardoi (3-0) managed to deliver another win on Saturday. This time they beat Coruna (0-3) 62-50. They outrebounded Coruna 45-26 including a 19-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a quality performance for Argentinian forward Maria Lineira (182-83) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 15 rebounds. Forward Beatriz Royo (176-91) accounted for 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. Forward Andrea Perez (178-93) came up with 11 points and Laura Cervelo (-97) added 7 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Coruna in the defeat. Coruna's coach Ruben Vazquez tested eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Ardoi will meet at home Cortegada (#5) in the next round. Coruna will play against Rioja (#7) in Azkoitia and hopes to get finally their first victory.
