Regular Season Round 3: Laguneros - Lenadores 96-97

Another exciting game for Lenadores (3-1) which played in Torreon against Laguneros (2-2). Lenadores upset home team edging them after exciting game by one point 97-96. Lenadores shot 68.5 percent from the field. Lenadores had a 26-14 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great evening for American-Lebanese power forward Jarrid Famous (209-88, college: S.Florida) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). American point guard Jeffery Stubbs (189-91, college: Jackson St.) helped adding 25 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). The best for the losing side was naturalized American swingman PJ Reyes (196-88, college: Charleston) with 31 points and 5 rebounds and American forward Carl Hall (202-89, college: Wichita St.) scored 18 points and 4 assists. Five Lenadores and four Laguneros players scored in double figures. Lenadores will play against Mineros in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Laguneros will play against Correcaminos in Ciudad Victoria and hope to get back on the winning track.
