There was a minor upset in Avila where one of their biggest challengers Baskonia B (2-2) was defeated by eleventh ranked Fontedoso Carrefour (2-2) 77-69 on Saturday. Fontedoso Carrefour outrebounded Baskonia B 38-27 including 24 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of Venezuelan point guard Harold Cazorla (175-91) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and Senegalese center Biram Faye (206-0) who added 14 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side swingman Ivan Martinez (192-90) responded with 15 points and Latvian Arturs Kurucs (192-0) scored 15 points. Baskonia B's coach Miguel Angel Hoyo tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Fontedoso Carrefour moved-up to fifth place in Silver. Fontedoso Carrefour will face Marin (#8) on the road in the next round. Baskonia B will play against Tormes (#10) and hope to win that game.
