The game in Amsterdam supposed to be also worth to mention about. Den Bosch (3-1) played at the court of Amsterdam (1-2). Den Bosch smashed Amsterdam 106-63. The game was mostly controlled by Den Bosch. Amsterdam was better in third quarter 24-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Den Bosch dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Amsterdam's 30. They outrebounded Amsterdam 34-23 including 28 on the defensive glass. It was a great shooting night for Den Bosch especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. It was an exceptional evening for American point guard Keshun Sherrill (175-94, college: Augusta, agency: Interperformances) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 assists. Power forward Roel Aarts (205-93) accounted for 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side. Five Den Bosch players scored in double figures. The former international swingman Dimeo Van Der Horst (197-91) came up with 17 points and 6 rebounds and center Berend Weijs (207-88, college: Maryland) added 17 points and 5 blocks respectively for Amsterdam in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Den Bosch will play against Leeuwarden (#4) at home in the next round. Amsterdam will play against Dutch Windmills and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
