Regular Season Round 3: Real Canoe - UCAM Jairis 81-57

No shocking result in a game when Real Canoe (2-1) crushed UCAM Jairis (0-3) in Madrid 81-57 on Saturday. It was a good game for Lucia Rodriguez (186-99) who led her team to a victory with 25 points and 5 rebounds. Point guard Macarena Roldan-Garcia (173-94) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Ana Faussurier (190-94, college: Arkansas) answered with 13 points and 9 rebounds and forward Victoria Robles (179-91) added 18 points in the effort for UCAM Jairis. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Real Canoe will face Campus Promete in Logrono in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. UCAM Jairis will play at home against Gran Canaria (#6) and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
