No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Moncalieri (3-1) beat 12th ranked Marghera (1-3) in Venezia 52-37 on Saturday. Moncalieri forced 20 Marghera turnovers. It was a very good performance for German forward Stefanie Grigoleit (186-89) who helped to win the game recording 13 points and 8 rebounds. Ilenia Cordola (183-96) contributed with 8 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Moncalieri's coach Paolo Terzolo let to play all 12 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Swingman Silvia Pastrello (181-1) replied with 9 points and 10 rebounds and guard Sara Toffolo (184-0) added 9 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Marghera. Moncalieri moved-up to fourth place in A2. Loser Marghera dropped to the thirteenth position with three games lost. Moncalieri will face Udine (#6) at home in the next round. Marghera will play against Ponzano (#10) in Veneto and hope to win that game.
