Regular Season Round 2: Tsmoki-Minsk - Gomel-Sozh 77-27

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Gomel-Sozh (1-1) on the court of Tsmoki-Minsk on Saturday night. Visitors were rolled over by Tsmoki-Minsk 77-27. The game without a history. Tsmoki-Minsk led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Gomel-Sozh to just 4 points in fourth quarter and to 13 points in second half. Tsmoki-Minsk held Gomel-Sozh to an opponent 16.4 percent shooting from the field compared to 43.4 percent accuracy of the winners. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tsmoki-Minsk are looking forward to face Victoria (#7) in Grodno in the next round where they are favorite. Gomel-Sozh will play on the road against BrGU COR Victoria in Brest and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
