There was a minor upset when higher ranked Brissac Anjou (2-4) lost on the road to thirteenth ranked Lourdes-Tarbes (2-4) 77-67 on Saturday. It was a good game for American center Justin Moss (201-93, college: Buffalo) who led his team to a victory with 25 points and 9 rebounds. Center Alexis Thomas (196-95) contributed with 6 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Four Lourdes-Tarbes players scored in double figures. Power forward Maxime Chupin (205-89, college: Cal-Irvine) replied with 17 points and 8 rebounds and Senegalese center Moise Diame (206-86) added 17 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Brissac Anjou. Lourdes-Tarbes moved-up to ninth place in Group B, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Brissac Anjou. Lourdes-Tarbes will face higher ranked Toulouse (#5) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
