Regular Season Round 3: Urania Milano - Lugo 89-52

Everything went according to plan when Urania Milano (2-1) outplayed at home Lugo (0-3) 89-52 on Saturday. Urania Milano dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Lugo's 26. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Lugo's players. It was a good game for guard Andrea Scanzi (196-88) who led his team to a victory with 18 points and 5 assists. Center Giorgio Piunti (205-90) contributed with 12 points and 8 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four Urania Milano players scored in double figures. Point guard Antonio Brighi (190-96) answered with 10 points and Dario Farabegoli (200-98) added 8 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Lugo. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Urania Milano will face Lecco (#10) at home in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Lugo will play against Crema and hopes to get finally their first victory.
