Hapoel Jerusalem looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Ironi Nes-Ziona's players. It was an exceptional evening for the former international forward Lior Eliyahu (205-85) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 14 rebounds. American point guard J'Covan Brown (188-90, college: Texas) accounted for 18 points and 5 assists for the winning side. American swingman Chris Dowe (191-91, college: Bellarmine) came up with 13 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and international Golan Gutt (192-94) added 18 points respectively for Ironi Nes-Ziona in the defeat. Five Hapoel Jerusalem and four Ironi Nes-Ziona players scored in double figures. Hapoel Jerusalem will meet Galil Gilboa (#5) in the next round. Ironi Nes-Ziona will play against Ironi Nahariya and hope to win that game.
