Third defeat of league's leader Toshiba Thunders (4-3) against second ranked Toyota Alvark (6-1) 66-46 was the most important game of the last round. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Alex Kirk (211-91, college: N.Mexico, agency: Pensack Sports) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds. International Yudai Baba (193-95) contributed with 13 points for the winners. American power forward Vernon Macklin (208-86, college: Florida) answered with 13 points and 9 rebounds and international power forward Nick Fazekas (211-85, college: Nevada) added 12 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Toshiba Thunders. Toshiba Thunders' coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Ryukyu GK and Tochigi Brex. Toshiba Thunders at the other side dropped to the second place with three games lost. They share the position with 3 other teams. They were replaced at the leadership position by Toyama Grouses. Toshiba Thunders will play next round against San-en NeoPhoenix trying to make it back to the top of the standings.
