Regular Season Round 3: Alma TR - Germani BR 90-86

There was a surprise result in Trieste where Alma TR (1-2) defeated Germani BR (1-2) 90-86. Alma TR shot the lights out from three nailing 18 long-distance shots on high 56.3 percentage. It was an exceptional evening for American point guard Chris Wright (185-89, college: Georgetown) who led the winners and scored 13 points and 8 assists. Latvian Arturs Strautins (198-98) accounted for 16 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. American guard Bryon Allen (193-92, college: George Mason) came up with 23 points and the other American import forward Jordan Hamilton (201-90, college: Texas) added 20 points respectively for Germani BR in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Alma TR's next round opponent will be Openjobmetis VA (#7) in Varese and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
