But Desio was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Olginate 78-61 on Sunday night. Olginate shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 60.0 percentage. It was a good game for power forward Marco Tagliabue (206-86) who led his team to a victory with 13 points and 8 rebounds. Edoardo Caversazio (200-96) contributed with 8 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Olginate's coach Massimo Meneguzzo used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Power forward Giovanni Lenti (200-96) answered with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds and naturalized Dominican guard Daniel Perez (187-97) added 15 points in the effort for Desio. Olginate will face Tessilform Bernareggio (#13) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Desio will play against Vicenza and hope to win that game.
