There was no surprise in Norrkoping where 6th ranked Haga BG (1-2) was crushed by third ranked Bankeryd (3-1) 116-58 on Sunday. The game without a history. Bankeryd led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Haga BG's 18. Bankeryd forced 23 Haga BG turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Haga BG was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Guard Kristoffer Gronhage (188-92) fired 32 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists (on 12-of-14 shooting from the field) for the winners. Forward Johannes Hook (200-96) chipped in 26 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists (made all of his eight free throws). Five Bankeryd players scored in double figures. Point guard Jacob Burke (171-2) produced 9 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) and Ludvig Worge (-0) added 11 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Haga BG's coach David Bergstrom gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Bankeryd have a solid three-game winning streak. They used an opportunity after Eskilstuna lost their game and moved up joining them at the top position. Loser Haga BG dropped to the fifth place with two games lost. Bankeryd will face Huddinge (#9) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Haga BG will play against Orebro (#8) and hope to win that game.
