Regular Season Round 5: BC Lulea - Boras 97-80

An interesting game for BC Lulea (5-2) which hosted in Lulea 3rd placed Boras Basket (4-3). Second ranked BC Lulea had an easy win 97-80. It was a key game for the second position in the league. The game was mostly controlled by BC Lulea. Boras Basket managed to win fourth quarter 24-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. BC Lulea looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. American players dominated the game. Guard Corban Collins (190-94, college: Alabama) orchestrated the victory by scoring 28 points and 5 rebounds. Forward Daniel Alexander (206-91, college: Grand Canyon, agency: Haylett Sports) contributed with 23 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Nimrod Hilliard-IV (183-93, college: N.C.Central) answered with 22 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) and forward Mike Moore (203-94, college: Mount Olive) added 16 points in the effort for Boras Basket. Four Boras Basket players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. BC Lulea have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain second place with 5-2 record having just two point less than leader Sodertalje. Boras Basket at the other side dropped to the fourth position with three games lost. They share it with Jamtland. BC Lulea are looking forward to face league's leader Sodertalje Kings on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Boras Basket will play against Koping Stars and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
