Regular Season Round 3: Scauri - Catania Alfa 59-55

No shocking result in a game when Scauri (3-0) beat at home Catania Alfa (0-3) 59-55 on Sunday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. It was a good game for Andrea Longobardi (199-94) who led his team to a victory with 10 points and 8 rebounds. Mattia Ciman (193-93, agency: Players Group) contributed with 16 points for the winners. Four Scauri players scored in double figures. Scauri's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Alessandro Agosta (204-84) answered with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds and Matteo Gottini (192-79) added 18 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Catania Alfa. Scauri will face Deco in Caserta in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Catania Alfa will play at home against Palermo GB (#11) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
