An interesting game was also tough home defeat of 4th ranked Osaka Evessa in a game versus Diamond Dolphins (#2) 80-70. It was a key game for the top position in the league. It was an exceptional evening for American Markeith Cummings (198-88, college: Kennesaw St.) who led the winners and scored 25 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. His fellow American import forward Justin Burrell (207-88, college: St.John's) accounted for 18 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side. American forward Josh Harrellson (208-89, college: Kentucky) came up with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds and the former international center Pape Faye (200-87) added 14 points and 13 rebounds respectively for Osaka Evessa in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Diamond Dolphins have a solid series of three victories in a row.
