Zhejiang Guangsha Lions used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Jinjiang 119-105 on Sunday night. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions dominated down low during the game scoring 80 of its points in the paint compared to Sturgeons' 56. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Zhejiang Guangsha Lions made 7 blocks. It was a very good performance for American point guard Courtney Fortson (180-88, college: Arkansas) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 29 points, 6 rebounds and 15 assists. American point guard Russ Smith (183-91, college: Louisville) answered with a double-double by scoring 28 points, 8 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals and Canadian Andrew Nicholson (206-89, college: St.Bonaventure) added 31 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Sturgeons. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions will have a break next round. Sturgeons will play at home against Bayi Rockets (#11) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
