The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Hapoel B/S (2-1) in Tel-Aviv on Monday night. Visitors were edged by Maccabi T-A (3-0) 66-64. It was a good game for naturalized American point guard John DiBartolomeo (183-91, college: Rochester, agency: Duran International) who led his team to a victory with 22 points and 7 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). The former international center Alex Tyus (203-88, college: Florida) contributed with 10 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. DiBartolomeo is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American forward Jordan Swing (198-90, college: UAB, agency: Two Points) answered with 12 points and 8 rebounds and the other American import guard Semaj Christon (190-92, college: Xavier) added 18 points in the effort for Hapoel B/S. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Maccabi T-A's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Tel-Aviv Hapoel Tel-Aviv.
