Regular Season Round 2: Shaanxi - Shanghai 79-71

Not a big story in a game in Weinan where Swordfish (0-2) was defeated by Red Wolves (2-0) 79-71 on Monday. Strangely Swordfish outrebounded Red Wolves 40-21 including 26 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American center AJa Wilson (196-96, college: S.Carolina) scored 41 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 5 blocks to lead the charge for the winners and Taiwanese guard Hsien-Fang Lin (168-91) chipped in 5 points, 6 rebounds, 14 assists and 4 steals during the contest. Center Zhiting Zhang (196) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds and Montenegrin center Jelena Dubljevic (191-87, agency: BeoBasket) scored 18 points and 8 rebounds. Four Swordfish players scored in double figures. Red Wolves will face Henan Phoenix (#13) in Jiyuan in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Swordfish will play at home against Magic Deer and hope to win that game.
