An interesting game where Bnot Hertzeliya (#2) beat host Hap.Petah Tikva (#6) 77-71 on Monday evening. Bnot Hertzeliya forced 23 Hap.Petah Tikva turnovers. The game was also dominated by American players. Forward Crystal Bradford (183-93, college: Cent.Michigan) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!), 16 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 steals for the winners and guard Tamera Young (188-86, college: JMU) chipped in 10 points and 8 rebounds. Four Bnot Hertzeliya players scored in double figures. At the losing side center Khadijiah Cave (190-95, college: Baylor) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds and forward Monique Reid (185-90, college: Louisville, agency: LBM Management) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds. Bnot Hertzeliya will meet at home Maccabi Ashdod (#8) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Hap.Petah Tikva will play against Maccabi Raanana and hope to win that game.
