Regular Season Round 3: Bauru - Vasco Da G. 76-80

Rather expected game when Paschoalotto/Bauru (0-2) was defeated at home by Vasco Da G. (2-1) 80-76. Vasco Da G. players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was a good game for American guard Nick Okorie (185-88, college: Texas Tech) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 assists. The former international guard Eduardo Machado (193-82) contributed with 17 points and 4 assists for the winners. Four Vasco Da G. players scored in double figures. International power forward Lucas Mariano (208-93) answered with 20 points and 9 rebounds and guard Luis-Gustavo de-Oliveira (190-91) added 18 points in the effort for Paschoalotto/Bauru. Paschoalotto/Bauru's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Vasco Da G. will play against Vivo/Franca (#9) in Sao Paulo in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Paschoalotto/Bauru will play at home against Vivo/Franca and hopes to get finally their first victory.
