Regular Season Round 8: Ryukyu GK - Osaka Evessa 81-48

The game between Top Four teams took place in Okinawa. First ranked host Ryukyu GK (7-1) smashed 4th ranked Osaka Evessa (4-4) 81-48. Ryukyu GK looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Jeff Ayres (206-87, college: Arizona St.) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 8 rebounds and the other American import forward Josh Scott (208-93, college: Colorado, agency: Pensack Sports) who added 11 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. American forward Josh Harrellson (208-89, college: Kentucky) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds and point guard Shunki Hatakeyama (170-91) scored 7 points and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Ryukyu GK have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 7-1 record, which they share with Toyota Alvark and Tochigi Brex. Osaka Evessa lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the third place with four games lost. Ryukyu GK will face Toshiba Thunders (#3) in Kanagawa in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Osaka Evessa will play at home against Chiba Jets and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
