Regular Season Round 3: GTK Gliwice - AZS Koszalin 95-71

Everything went according to plan when GTK (2-1) outplayed AZS Koszalin (0-3) in Gliwice 95-71 on Wednesday. It was a great shooting night for GTK especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 64.3 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when GTK made 7 blocks. It was an exceptional evening for American point guard Myles Mack (175-93, college: Rutgers) who led the winners and scored 15 points, 7 assists and 4 steals. His fellow American import forward Damonte Dodd (211-94, college: Maryland) accounted for 15 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. American guard Drew Brandon (193-92, college: E.Washington) came up with 13 points and 8 rebounds and Serbian Dragoslav Papic (204-87, agency: BeoExcell) added 19 points respectively for AZS Koszalin in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. GTK will meet at home Polpharma (#7) in the next round. AZS Koszalin will play against Spojnia Stargard (#16) and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
