Regular Season Round 9: Shimane SM - Bambitious Nara 83-73

Rather predictable result when third ranked Shimane Magic (6-3) defeated at home 5th ranked Bambitious Nara (1-7) 83-73 on Wednesday. Shimane Magic looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Hungarian Rosco Allen (208-93, college: Stanford, agency: Pensack Sports) stepped up and scored 24 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and American-Panamanian forward Gyno Pomare (203-86, college: San Diego) chipped in 17 points and 12 rebounds. Four Shimane Magic players scored in double figures. Shimane Magic's coach Yukinori Suzuki used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was American power forward Gary Hamilton (208-84, college: Miami, FL, agency: Inception Sports) with a triple-double by scoring 16 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists and point guard Makoto Higuchi (177-92) scored 12 points. The victory was the third consecutive win for Shimane Magic. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Cyberdyne IR and Tokyo Z. Bambitious Nara lost their seventh game in a row. They dropped to the sixth position with seven games lost. Shimane Magic will face league's leader Dragonflies in Hiroshima in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Bambitious Nara will play at home against Orange Vikings (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
