They outrebounded Varese Robur 39-25 including 29 on the defensive glass. At the losing side forward Marco Planezio (198-91, agency: Players Group) responded with 20 points and 5 rebounds and swingman Jacopo Mercante (197-90) scored 11 points and 7 rebounds. Omnia Basket (1-4) left bottom position moving up to fourteenth place in B, which they share with Crema and Reggio Emilia. Loser Varese Robur dropped to the eighth position with two games lost. Omnia Basket will face Siena Virtus (#15) on the road in the next round.
