The most surprising game was the first loss of Novipiu Casale (3-1) on the court of thirteenth ranked Pall. Trapani on Wednesday night. Visitors were defeated by Pall. Trapani 98-92. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Rotnei Clarke (183-89, college: Butler, agency: HMS) who helped to win the game recording 26 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. The former international power forward Andrea Renzi (207-89, agency: Players Group) contributed with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds (perfect from downtown making all five shots) for the winners. Pall. Trapani's coach Daniele Parente used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Kruize Pinkins (201-93, college: USF) replied with 23 points and 9 rebounds and the former international power forward Niccolo Martinoni (203-89) added 13 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Novipiu Casale. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Pall. Trapani (2-2) moved-up to eleventh place in A2. Novipiu Casale at the other side keeps the second position with one game lost. Pall. Trapani are looking forward to face Bertram TRT (#13) in Tortona in the next round. Novipiu Casale will play at home against Zeus EG Rieti (#7) and is hoping to win this game.
