Regular Season Round 5: Klodzko - Nysa 76-74

No shocking result in a game when third ranked Klodzko (4-1) edged at home bottom-ranked Nysa (0-5) 76-74 on Wednesday. However just two-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Klodzko looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Guard Michal Weiss (188-82) orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Point guard Marcin Kowalski (175-82) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists for the winners. Krzysztof Wilk (201-90) answered with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds and Maciej Poznanski (191-98) added 14 points and 6 assists in the effort for Nysa. Five Klodzko and four Nysa players scored in double figures. Klodzko have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain third place in Group D with 4-1 record having just one point less than leader Zubry. Loser Nysa still closes the standings with five games lost. Klodzko will face Gimbasket WRC (#9) in Wroclaw in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Nysa will play at home against Katy Wroclawskie (#6) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
