Regular Season Round 5: Stal SW - Siarka 76-68

There was no surprise when 9th ranked Siarka (1-3) lost to fifth ranked Stal SW (4-1) in Stalowa Wola 68-76 on Wednesday. Guard Cezary Guminski (192-94) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 17 rebounds. Kacper Bejnar (200-97) contributed with 21 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Stal SW players scored in double figures. Swingman Mateusz Gazarkiewicz (193-91) answered with 19 points and 5 assists and point guard Michal Baran (187-80) added 17 points, 5 assists and 4 steals in the effort for Siarka. Stal SW moved-up to second place in Group B. Siarka lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the twelfth position with three games lost. Stal SW will face Start Lublin II (#10) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Siarka will play against Nadarzyn and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
