Bosnian Banovici can celebrate their first win this season after three consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Croatian Tresnjevka (0-3) 65-60 on Wednesday. Tresnjevka was trailing by 3 points at halftime but managed to get 3-point lead after three quarters before a 24-16 charge of Banovici, which allowed them to win the game. They made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. Banovici had a 35-24 advantage in offensive rebounds. Montenegrin center Nikolina Zubac (188-98) fired a double-double by scoring 13 points and 16 rebounds for the winners. Serbian guard Latinka Dusanic (178-90) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. Four Banovici players scored in double figures. Point guard Nika Muhl (178-1) produced 4 points, 10 rebounds, 11 assists and 7 steals and Spanish forward Maria Royo (178-86) added 13 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Tresnjevka's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Defending Bosnian champion (1-3) left bottom position moving up to seventh place. It was Tresnjevka's third loss in a row. They still close the standings with three games lost.
