Paschoalotto/Bauru's fans can celebrate the first win of their team after three consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Botafogo F.R. (1-2) 82-63. Paschoalotto/Bauru shot the lights out from three nailing 15 long-distance shots on high 65.2 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international Jefferson Andrade (207-83) who helped to win the game recording 19 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and international power forward Lucas Mariano (208-93) who added 14 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American point guard Jamaal Smith (175-85, college: N.Mexico) responded with 10 points and 6 assists and Wesley Alves (198-96) scored 12 points and 5 rebounds. Four Botafogo F.R. players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Despite that victory Paschoalotto/Bauru went down to twelfth position due to points difference. Botafogo F.R. at the other side dropped to the tenth place with two games lost. They share the position with Sao Jose. Paschoalotto/Bauru will play against bottom-ranked Brasilia (#14) on the road in the next round. Botafogo F.R. will play against Paulistano (#5) to get more than just one victory in their record.
