Important game to mention about took place in Empoli. First ranked LTC Sangiorg. (4-1) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging 14th ranked USE Basket (2-2) 64-63 on Thursday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. Point guard Filippo Giannini (184-91) added 15 points and 6 rebounds for lost side. Four USE Basket players scored in double figures. USE Basket's coach Giovanni Bassi rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. LTC Sangiorg. maintains first position in B with 4-1 record, which they share with Vicenza. USE Basket at the other side dropped to the eighth place with two games lost. They share the position with Lecco. LTC Sangiorg. will play against Vigevano (#4) on the road in the next round. USE Basket will play against Rosmini D. (#17) in Domodossola and hopes to get back on the winning track.
