Regular Season Round 3: Victoria - Gorizont 44-105

The game in Grodno supposed to be also worth to mention about. Gorizont (3-0) played at the court of Victoria (0-3). Gorizont smashed Victoria 105-44. The game without a history. Gorizont led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Victoria to just 7 points in fourth quarter. Gorizont dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Victoria's 34 and had 26 for 37 from the free-throw line, while Victoria only scored four points from the stripe. They outrebounded Victoria 59-25 including a 23-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. Gorizont players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists comparing to just 4 passes made by Victoria's players. Victoria was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for international center Hanna Brych (187-97) who led her team to a victory scoring 22 points and 5 rebounds. Guard Volha Hromik (183-93) helped adding 15 points and 13 rebounds. Four Gorizont players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was swingman Tatyana Mikhnevich (174-99) with 6 points and 6 rebounds and guard Yana Iahnovets (169-1) scored 6 points. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Gorizont's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Minsk to the arena RGUOR.
