Regular Season Round 6: Pelplin - Suchy Las 90-65

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Pelplin as it allowed them to take a leadership position in Group A. Pelplin smashed 8th ranked Suchy Las in Pelpin 90-65. Pelplin looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Suchy Las' players. Marcin Chudy (187-86) scored 23 points and 6 assists to lead the charge for the winners and guard Damian Ciesielski (187-97) chipped in 17 points and 6 assists (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) during the contest. Four Pelplin players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was power forward Andrzej Krajewski (202) with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds and swingman Aleksander Wisniewski (190-3) scored 20 points and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Pelplin (5-0) have an impressive five-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Politechnika Gd. Suchy Las at the other side keep the eighth place with three games lost. Suchy Las will play next round against strong Politechnika Gd. trying to get back on the winning streak. Pelplin will try to continue on its current victory against eleventh ranked Tarnovia in Tarnowo Podgorne.
