Undefeated Thor AK (3-1) recorded its first loss in Akureyri on Friday night. Hosts were edged by fifth ranked Hottur (2-2) 88-87. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Thor AK. The guests trailed by 4 points after three quarters before their 21-17 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Spanish forward David Guardia (200-90, agency: Players Group) fired 23 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners.
