Okapi Aalstar did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 75-58. The best player for the winners was American guard Brandon Rozzell (188-89, college: VCU) who scored 20 points. His fellow American import guard Jonathan Williams (190-95, college: Toledo) chipped in 17 points. Okapi Aalstar's coach Jean-Marc Jaumin allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American forward Brandan Stith (201-94, college: ODU) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds and guard Anthony Lambot (191-94, agency: Promotex) added 16 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. Okapi Aalstar moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Kangoeroes and Liege. Leuven Bears at the other side dropped to the bottom position with three games lost. Okapi Aalstar's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Oostende on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Leuven Bears will play against Liege Basket (#5) and hope to win that game.
