Regular Season Round 3: Saint-Chamond - Aix-Maurienne 70-56

Very expected game when Aix-Maurienne (1-2) was defeated on the road by Saint Chamond (3-0) 70-56. Saint Chamond outrebounded Aix-Maurienne 45-33 including a 35-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. It was an exceptional evening for Tunisian Makram Ben-Romdhane (205-89) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds. Point guard Matthieu Guichard (187-88) accounted for 4 points, 6 rebounds and 11 assists for the winning side. Four Saint Chamond players scored in double figures. Saint Chamond's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Point guard Hugo Suhard (184-92) came up with 10 points and 5 assists and naturalized Algerian Karim Atamna (196-80) added 6 points and 6 assists respectively for Aix-Maurienne in the defeat. Saint Chamond's next round opponent will be Entente Orleans 45 on the road and it will be for sure the game of the week. Aix-Maurienne will play against ALM Evreux (#5) and hope to win that game.
